Keith is an inventor and entrepreneur, who is best know for inventing the iTRAK system. He is currently the Managing Principal of KD Jacobs, a consulting firm focused on industrial technologies. He is an investor and board member for several technology startups and a university guest lecturer on the topic of Entrepreneurship. Previously, he served as a CEO-in-Residence at Rockwell Automation, where he worked on growing the iTRAK business. He is the former Founder and CEO of Jacobs Automation, where he invented Independent Mover Technology that eventually became the iTRAK system. Keith sold this business to Rockwell Automation in 2014. Prior to this, he was the Director of Research and Development at RA Jones, a leading provider of packaging machinery to the food, pharmaceutical, dairy and consumer goods industries. He spent the earlier years of his career at International Paper in Beverage Packaging and General Electric in Aviation. Keith is a graduate of MIT, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
